The Web3 Development Writing Contest
Over the last decade, talk of Web3, and its potential, has become a staple in mainstream technology discourse worldwide. However, its popularity alone has yet to drive widespread adoption.
Rapid development is a must to shift Web3 from an interesting debate topic or a "nice-to-consider" idea for technologists to a point where it truly delivers decentralization, privacy, and user ownership in a way that meets everyday needs. In short, the ecosystem needs better tools, smarter infrastructure, and real-world applications.
GetBlock, sponsor of the Web3 development Contest, supports this progress with cost-effective tools and scalable infrastructure to help developers build high-quality decentralized apps faster. How Long Will the Contest Run?​​
The Contest will run for three months, from March 17, 2025, to June 17, 2025.

Can I submit more than one entry to the contest?​
Of course! Each story submission will count as a new entry into the writing contest.

How are the winners selected?

After three months, submissions will close. We’ll review the entries and shortlist the stories that receive the most attention (real humans, not bots!).

Next, the shortlisted stories will be voted on by HackerNoon editors and select members of the GetBlock team.

The top 3 stories with the most votes will be crowned winners and featured in an announcement on HackerNoon.
