The Spacecoin Writing Contest
Spacecoin, a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) powered by satellites, has partnered with HackerNoon to launch the Spacecoin Writing Contest, featuring a 15,000 USDT prize pool spread across 3 rounds and up to 15 writers.
The internet today is largely centralized, with governments and multinationals controlling most of its infrastructure—terrestrial and submarine cables, and cellphone towers that support global connectivity. This centralized control leads to censorship and undermines the original vision of a free, open web.
Spacecoin wants to flip the script by completely decentralizing the Internet. Built on the Creditcoin Blockchain, it functions as a decentralized network of nodes hosted on a constellation of small satellites in Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) that will provide trustless high-speed internet coverage to users all over the world.
The contest is an opportunity for writers, space geeks, and champions of decentralization to connect with Spacecoin’s mission—connecting purpose to blockchain infrastructure & bridging digital divides to bring affordable, borderless connectivity to billions.
Spacecoin Writing Contest Structure
In line with Spacecoin’s mission, the contest will focus on three main themes
