Attention writers, developers, and AI enthusiasts! Join us for the inaugural ICP #decentralize-ai Writing Competition, a unique opportunity to showcase your insights and creativity regarding decentralized AI and the Internet Computer Protocol.

 

By entering, you stand a chance to win from a $1,000 prize pool and contribute to the growing body of knowledge regarding decentralized AI on ICP.

Not sure where to start? Here are some ideas to inspire your submission

1. Understanding Decentralized AI
Provide an overview of decentralized AI, its significance in the current tech landscape, and how ICP’s unique features are pioneering this field. Include a discussion of the benefits and challenges developers may experience when using decentralized AI on ICP.

2. Decentralized AI Use Cases
Explore various applications of decentralized AI across industries such as finance, healthcare, supply chain, and more, specifically highlighting ICP-based solutions. Include real-world example applications from the ICP ecosystem, and mention any potential future developments of ICP that may enable future use cases.

3. Building Decentralized AI Models
Share tutorials or case studies on how to develop and deploy decentralized AI models onICP. This could include leveraging ICP's Chain Fusion technology, unique smart contract architecture, or decentralized compute resources.

The #decentralize-ai Writing Contest Rules & Guidelines

 

  • Must be 18+ to enter.

  • Story content can be any original story on #decentralize-ai.​

  • Must create a HackerNoon account, as winners will be contacted via email.​

Who Can Enter the Contest?​

 

Anyone over the age of 18. There are no location restrictions.

Can I Write Under a Pen Name?

 

Yes! You can use your real name on your HackerNoon profile, a pseudonym, or even create a persona to write under.

How Long Will the Contest Run?​

The Contest will run for 3 months, starting on June 24, 2024, and ending on September 24, 2024.

Can I submit more than one entry to the contest?

Of course. Each story submission shall be considered a new entry into the writing contest.

How are the winners selected?

 

  • After 3 months, we’ll shortlist and announce the top 10 story submissions that receive the most eyeballs (real humans, not bots!).

  • Next, the shortlisted stories will be voted on by HackerNoon staff.

  • The top 3 stories with the most votes will be crowned as winners.
