About
Rootstock
Rootstock is the first and longest-lasting Bitcoin sidechain. It is the only Bitcoin layer 2 today that combines the security of Bitcoin's proof-of-work, with Ethereum's smart contract capabilities.
Rootstock is open-source, EVM-compatible, and secured by over 60% of Bitcoin’s hashing power, which makes it a gateway to a vibrant ecosystem of dApps that continues to evolve to become fully trustless.

Can I submit more than one entry to the contest?
Of course. Each story submission shall be considered a new entry into the writing contest.

How are the winners selected?
-
Each round, we’ll shortlist the top 10 story submissions that receive the most eyeballs (real humans, not bots!).
-
Next, the 10 shortlisted stories will be voted on by HackerNoon staff and the 3 stories with the most votes will be selected as winners.
-
Additionally, thought leadership articles will be reviewed separately and the top 2 for each round will receive $650 a piece.

Can I win more than one prize?
Absolutely! Each of your submitted stories has a chance to win. Nominees are selected based on total traffic in each round, and then our team votes on them. If two of your stories from that round are among the top performers, both are eligible to win prizes. This means you could potentially secure both first and second place in the contest if two of your stories make it to the top 10.

If I win a prize in round 1, can I still submit another entry into round 2?
Absolutely! Feel free to enter each round of the competition.
Is it okay to submit an AI-generated entry?
You can but your entry will NOT be considered for prize awards.
